Beaches
When it comes to beaches, Devon has them in abundance. Everything from quiet, relaxed coves to long beaches and surfing beaches. North Devon is a firm favourite for the surfers, but it's also fantastic for family fun and long walks with beaches providing long sandy stretches and rocky coves. The South coast of Devon provides a more relaxed feel, like a lazy Sunday morning. It has beautiful stretches of sand and calm waters, the perfect destination for sitting back, relaxing and taking in the sea air. While the Jurrasic coastline provides an abundance of history from interesting fishing villages to fossil hunting.
Exmoor and Dartmoor
The moors are of outstanding beauty and if you are one who loves nature they are a must-stop on your short break to Devon. Dartmoor is renowned for its rugged beauty and famous tours which are fantastic for walkers. Whereas Exmoor, it's partner is softer in its beauty, with slightly more farmland running through it providing an easier climb for walkers.

Devon even spoils you with when it comes to towns and cities. Plymouth and Exeter are your cities of choice, both are clean, fresh cities that spoil you with beautiful scenery and all the well-known shopping brands.
